About Florida Pet Directories

If there’s one thing I know, it’s that the love we have for our pets is something truly special. They become our family, our companions, and a source of joy in ways that are hard to put into words. They deserve the very best, and I believe we can do more for them when we come together as a community.

That belief is at the heart of why I created
Florida Pet Directories.

My journey began with TreasureCoast.pet, after seeing so many pet parents turning to social media groups in search of recommendations for veterinarians, groomers, pet sitters, trainers, and other local pet services. I knew there had to be an easier way to find these resources. But as the vision grew, I realized I wanted to create something more meaningful than a directory. I wanted to build close-knit pet communities where people could connect, support local businesses, celebrate their pets, and make a difference together.

That vision has grown into 11 regional pet communities across Florida, each bringing together pet parents, local businesses, rescues, shelters, and animal-focused nonprofits.

One State. 11 Communities.
A Shared Purpose.

Every region has its own people, businesses, organizations, and stories. Our goal is to bring them together in one welcoming online destination where pet lovers can discover local resources, find opportunities to get involved, support one another, and celebrate the animals who make our lives better.

Whether you're looking for a trusted local service, hoping to connect with fellow pet parents, promoting your pet business, or searching for ways to help animals in need, there's a place for you here.

We want these communities to become destinations people return to again and again—not just when they need something, but because there's always something new to discover and another way to participate.

A Community That Gives Back

Supporting animals is about more than providing information or making connections. It's about helping the people and organizations working every day to improve animals' lives. Local rescues, shelters, and pet-focused nonprofits do extraordinary work, often with limited resources. We believe their efforts deserve greater visibility and support. That's why a portion of Florida Pet Directories' net revenue is donated to pet-focused nonprofit organizations.

Giving back isn't an afterthought. It's an important part of why this network exists.

Help Us Build Something Special

Florida Pet Directories is growing, and the best communities aren't built by one person. They grow through the businesses that participate, the nonprofits that share their missions, and the pet parents who visit, contribute, and spread the word.

I'd love for you to find your regional community, explore what it offers, bookmark it, and come back often. Whether you join as a pet parent, a business, or an animal-focused organization, you can help shape what these communities become.

Together, we can make it easier to find what our pets need, strengthen the connections that make our communities special, and create meaningful support for animals throughout Florida.

With gratitude and a whole lot of love for all animals,

Danielle Eber
